The MarCom portrait service is for UI Health Care business-related purposes only. Employees may request a new studio portrait every five years. There is generally a 2-3 week turnaround time for production, after which photos will be emailed to you and uploaded to uiowa.photoshelter.com .
UIHC Marketing and Communications provides studio portrait photography services for UI Health Care employees who require a portrait as part of their work responsibilities or whose portrait will appear on UI Health Care web pages. This would include:
• Administrative leadership (hospital, college, VPMA)
• Health care providers (physicians, nurses, pharmacists, PAs, PTs, et al)
• Faculty
• Others who have specific needs such as for publishing or presentations
Individual portraits are intended for employees’ professional use only, including requests from professional organizations, associations, etc; requests from news media; LinkedIn and Outlook profiles. Employees may request a new studio portrait every five years. This allows us to prioritize our new employees and those without a photo on file.
If you need to schedule multiple (more than one person) individual studio portraits in a block of time, DO NOT use this service to schedule. Instead, contact Liz Martin at elizabeth-martin-1@uiowa.edu
The studio is reserved for incoming residents and fellows for the first two weeks of July and availability may be limited. Coordinators, and those with other time-sensitive requests, should contact Liz Martin to schedule these at elizabeth-martin-1@uiowa.edu .
After you receive your portrait in 2-3 weeks, you can add it to your Outlook profile from your account settings in Microsoft 365. Click here for additional directions.
